As reported by Reuters, Thompson resigns from his new position he held for four months related to controversy over his education record history.

The official statement from Yahoo! said that Thompson proved did not have a college degree in Computer Science, although the title is listed in Thompson official resume.

For a while, Thompson’s position is replaced by Ross Levinsohn, head of Global Media Yahoo!.

As reported, last week, Yahoo! formed a committee to track the records of Thompson’s history education in the curriculum vitae (CV).

The formation of this committee was triggered by report of Daniel Loeb’s , Third Point LLC company owner who controls 5.8 percent shares in Yahoo!. Loeb accused Thompson was never graduated from education in the field of computers, but claimed under computer graduate.

Thompson is a former President of PayPal who worked several months on Yahoo! started in January this year.

This replacement CEO by Yahoo! is the third time in three years. Last two CEOs is Carol Bartz before Thompson and Tim Morse who also lost his position due to a variety of cases and performance problems.

C3 Technologies itself is a leading provider of 3D mapping services that offer search, navigation and geographic information systems. C3 was originally part of Sweden’s aerospace industry, Saab AB.

Due to various advantages, Apple finally acquired C3 Technologies and used their technology to create a 3D software for iOS Map 6.

Apple is likely will introduce iOS 6 at the event Apple World Wide Developer Conference to be held in mid-June.

Thus, users do not need to “get around” to the site/ service to get the latest information.

The workings of “msnNOW” is taking the topic or discussion that is to be trending in social networks Facebook and Twitter. This will allow users who wish to obtain such information without much effort. With this the user can always “update” alias never miss the latest news.

From the monitoring of AreL, new msn.com service, msnNOW can display the latest news globally. It would be better if in the future, msnNOW can display the user’s trending according to country of choice, as Twitter did.

For now, Microsoft MSN.com does not make specific apps to access msnNOW. However, msnNOW can be accessed from Facebook, desktop browser, mobile device or browser with ease.
